Please say a prayer for me as I unfortunately went into a bout of severe depression and hopelessness yesterday. When I get this way it’s extremely frustrating to pray and just seems to cause anger.

I battled it for years and years and then broke down and talked to my dr about it. You can get help for this.

I will pray that you recover from this bout of depression. Seek medical attention, and pray for divine assistance, even if it is difficult and dry. When we are weakest is when we are strong.
 
I suffer as well. I am on disability for severe depression. I know its hard to function while in the depression but you have to continue to fight. Try to pray as often as you can, even if its just a Hail Mary, as Father Corapi says. Please seek help! With the help of my therapist and the medication I am on, I am able to continue to function. Please realize you are loved and prayed for.

mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the time of our death.

I’ve been there, also. Hang on and get help if it is too much to handle- some times this is purely biological and medication keeps it from happening. Praying for you

Depression is an awful thing to go through. I have suffered from this a few times and it is extremely painful and lonely. Please know that I will be praying for you and your recovery. Please do not give up! Just talk to God - even a little bit - if you can. This is a heavy cross that has given you or is allowing you to carry. Hang on to it. You are loved by many.
