Please pray for my wife, who is suffering terribly with depression and other health issues. We’re not sure what is wrong. She is giving up.
 
Dear Jesus,

Please send your peace and joy to Jude’s wife. Heal her from the depression that she suffers. Send her the help that she needs.

The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women

I agree that prayer is necessary. I will also pray that she find the professional medical care she needs. I suffered from depression for years. I finally accepted that God can and does work through the medical profession.

An adjustment in brain chemistry, and therapy with a psychologist or priest will help. At my age and with my history I will be taking a small dose of an SSRI for life. No wiredness, giddiness, manic symptoms etc which I had suffered with earlier treatments.

God bless you and do not be anymore afraid of accepting help for depression than you would for arthritis. It is a disease that God heals in his own way. Don’t try to force God to provide you with a sudden “miracle”, let him provide the miracle in His own way.

Praying hard for your wife. I too suffer from depression and am seeking medical help for it. My husband also suffers from depression and it takes a toll on both the person and the spouse. May the Lord be with you.

Yes I will pray for her. I always pray for those suffering from depression. I hope she is seeing someone who can adjust her medications, sometimes it takes time but keep persisting in prayer that her doctor will find what she needs. There is always hope and as hard as it is on you too, don’t give up on prayer!! When you do pray, ask St. Joseph, Blessed Mother and all the angels, saints and souls in purgatory to pray with you for your wife. God Bless you and keep you strong so you can care for your wife!

She had a reaction to her medication Thursday night-- very scary. She was incoherent, shaking, and unable to walk straight. We had it confirmed that it was a reaction to medication, which needed to be adjusted. Friday was a good day but now any ground gained seems to have been lost. I hear her at night praying to die.
 
Ohh sweet mother please interced in this womans life, help her to recover, help her family give them the strength to cope with this. I pray in your sons name.

I Will Pray For Your Wife.i Too Suffered From Depressions And All The Other Symptoms That Come With It. No Doubt Prayr Is Necessary But She Needs To See A Doctor Who Will Try And Get Her On The Right Medication And Maybe She Could Join A Group That Deals With Depression. I Have Gone To These Groups And Are Helpful
Please Do Not Give Up . There Is A Lot Of Help Out There And Keep On Praying
