Description of an evil force I saw/felt last night

I was born and raised a Seventh Day Adventist. My senior year in high school I attended an Adventist boarding academy. The girl’s dormatory was shaped like a right angled lightening bolt. Its halls at night were brightly lit - back in 68-69 it didn’t have dimming lights, and the floors were tiled not carpetted. We lived on the third floor and every night when my roommate and I went to bed we locked our dorm room door.

One night we locked the door and went to bed and were sound asleep. It was well passed midnight when we were wakened by the noise of slamming doors. Beginning at the west end of the dorm every door in sequence was thrown all the way open and then slammed shut all the way to the east end of the dorm and on the other side of the hall openned and slammed all the way back to the west end. The doors openned into the rooms, but no arm was seen throwing the doors open or pulling them back shut. No shadow was seen on the hall floor as the doors one after the other openned and slammed up and down the length of the dorm over and over again faster than a person could run the length of the floor. After this happened several times it stopped.

Needless to say everyone on the floor was terrified out of their minds.

The next day we were told that four freshmen who roomed on the first floor had been messing around with a oujui board and there had been some sort of supernatural manifestation - the details were never revealled. The four freshmen left the academy within two days of the occurrence - rumor had it that at least one of them had a breakdown as the result of what she saw. I know nothing about that, but I certainly know what we experienced on the third floor that night and there are no “normal” explanations for it.
:bigyikes: whoa. I know YOU weren’t using the ouija board, but people in general oughta just stay away from those things.

Lisa:

You are absolutely correct. By playing with a ouji board, those freshmen invited demonic powers into the entire dormatory.

Whoever started this thread(I forget your name)I think that it was demonic, but yous eemed to do okay fending it off.

I find that bathing after an attack really helps…especially if you add holy water mixed with a mega salt bath.

You should also know a little bit about shielding…You can imagine a shield of golden white coming down from a figure of Jesus above you and surrounding you. As it expands, imagine it is driving the dark force back. The more effort you put into this the better the result will be. Good Luck!

And faith in the Divine and that you are much more powerful then these entities because you have love is very important as well, no matter what faith you are!

Scott:)

The ouija board is a really big mystery to me. Even if I set a protection circle around me and feel the presence of God, something demonic always results. Even all my New Age friends are at a loss to explain why the ouija board is such a ‘beacon for badness’. Makes no sense to me…

Out of the three times I have tried the ouija board, each time inviting God, a protection circle, and good angels, something bad happens. First time my lamp levitated above the ground. I was so freaked that I sent a cloud of positive energy rushing at it and it was gone in an instance. Second time my guitar pick, which I use as my pointer, pointed to a bunch of letters and there were power surges. And ofcourse I banished both of thes as well.

It has become easy for me to banish demons because I am confident, have great faith in God, and am pretty good at visualization. And that is really all you need to get rid of them. SOmetimes they can seem like a big deal, but you are so much more powerful. As in Harry Potter, love is truly the greatest power.

Maybe the ouija board was cursed, or something…I still am quite curious about this demonic board…

science and religion CAN both be correct here…it could have a medical basis that is being taken advantage of by demons.
I know. I have Narcolepsy with Cataplexy AND have had demonic experiences from being involved in a Satanic cult. Demons are lazy, they will use an existing situation over manufacturing an entirely new situation every time. They prey on vulnerabilities.

The only thing worse that outright Satanism is atheism, or its friend, lukewarm Christianity. Catholic teaching informs us that we are surrounded by a swarm of unseen spirits from birth until death. The assumption that any psychological phenomenon is unaccompanied by spiritual influence is fatuous. Here are some articles to inform readers of this thread:

You are deceived by Satan. You cannot ask for God’s protection and then INVITE demons into your home. It is rather like praying for God to protect your home from fires and then pouring gasoline all over your furniture and throwing a lit match on it. Remember Jesus’ response to Satan, “It is written, thou shalt not tempt the Lordy your God.”

Surely you can’t be serious…You’re referencing a children’s book series as a guide to ‘‘banishing demons’’? Scott either you have a very overactive imagination or you are meddling with things that you have no business with or real knowledge of.

Ravyn, Scott: They’re not lazy. They’re incredibly clever at letting you think you’re in control when you’re not. Your over-confidence is one of their most insidious advantages. They use a combination of seduction and threat that is extremely difficult to break free of on your own. I’ve fought on behalf of young people caught in the trap and have found their situation to be desperate and deadly.

Everyone else: Assume these two are trapped. Start praying for them intensely. Go to this thread for ways you can intercede: Spritual Warfare - Traditionalist style

excuse me? I am a 45 year old practicing Catholic convert who was involved in a satanic cult by my parents and KNOW about demons first hand. Scott -I believe- is a 13 year old who is Wiccan. When I was involved in the dark stuff (before Scott was even born is my guess), ‘Wiccans’ were a joke to me. But I have been a Catholic now for 5 years and am active in my parish, made a Consecration to Mary and serve in a Cenacle as an Apostle of Divine Mercy. Somehow you have connected me and Scott and all I did was answer the OP about demons preying on vulnerabilities. I do not agree with most of what Black Tiger says when it comes to religion, but I am not going to slam him around for being young either.
I welcome your prayers—but I do not need them to ‘save’ me!
I was saved when I was baptized and I confirmed it over 5 years ago and confirm it again every Sunday at Mass…

Ravyn, how did you get out of the satanic cult? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to, but I am curious, because it seems that it would be a very difficult thing to do, esp. if you were heavily involved.

Moderaters, if this is off topic, please feel free to move it.

I’m not about to take your word for it. I’ve seen how demons manipulate, how they know how to lay low, how they can control. Being inside the Catholic Church is no cause to be smug:

That is possibly a story for another thread, if they feel comfortable telling people that is. Earlier in the thread Ravyn points that involvement in the cult was because of family though.

No, no you misunderstood me.

I set up protection and countermeasuers, then I invite only good spirits, like my grandma’s. It would be really cool to talk to her again…😦 .

But, even if I ask for protection, work with visualization techniques, among other countermeasuers, I still get a demon. I’m through trying now, though. I just don’t get why a demon always comes through no matter what.

But now that I have come to that conclusion, I have cracked my board in half and buried it in the earth away from my house.

No, only giving an exmaple…that book did have a very powerful message.

If you have love and faith, then you can easily banish the demons. Demons cannot stand positive emotions of any kind, being negative entities.

It also says that love is great in my Catholic religion book, and there is probably some line in the Bible that says that as well. Are you infering that love and joy are weak emotions and of no help when dealing with negative entites?

Excuse me? I certainly am not ‘trapped’ by a demon in any way. I am happy and love my life right now. My life is phenomenal. I don’t hear voices and hardly ever have nightmares. You are very much mistaken.

I didn’t really say that demons were lazy(certainly some of them are, though), but…hmm, I think I’ll use a Bible phrase for a change.

“Faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains”.

I truly believe in God’s power and love. That is why I find demon banishings so easy. That over-confidence I have comes from experience and faith.

I think you need more faith. You rejected what I said about God making the demons 'disappear, so that is kin of infereing that demons are more powerful than God. I believe that even I am more powerful than demons. They don’t love. They have no positive emotions. And humans are made in God’s image.

When dealing with demons, it comes down to faith. If you believe that God is truly more powerful, then you won’t have any problems. If you believe that demons are difficult to deal with and even God has trouble with them, then you are in for a hell of a time. 😉

As it comes for people praying for me, everyone can use prayers. 😃

Scott

No, I am telling you that you are far too young to have any knowledge of the things you think you are dealing with. You seem to be proclaiming yourself as an expert on demonology, and you are putting words into my mouth to make it seem as if I am ignorant.

Scott, I’m saying this not to make fun of you. I’m saying this as somebody who knows a (little bit) more than you, what you are meddling with is dangerous for your soul. You are very young, and if, as you say, you have been visited by demons, then you are in very real danger, but I have my doubts, and as I said before I put it down to an active imagination.

A thinking point. These things have been around since The Fall, do you really think you alone, under your own power and ‘‘positive energies’’ you can defeat them?

Just to clarify, Ravyn, Wiccans and satanic cults are very different…I do agree that as I grow older some of my minor opinions change, but even you are still learning. People never stop growing.😃

When my brother died last year I wished with all my heart that I could talk to him again. A good priest warned me to never ever wish such a thing as the evil one would be only to happy to send me a message from my brother. (Of course it would be a deception.) He said that I should only wish that my brother stands before the throne of God and I should wish that I myself will also stand before the throne of God and I will see him there.

I never did say I was an expert, I was just saying that was my experience. Age does not matter.

Yes, demons are dangerous. The only times demons have visited me is when I tried to use the ouija board, and as stated above, that was very far off from my intention(I’ve given up with the board now). Other then those few minutes, I do not see any demonic influences in my life. I am very happy right now, most everythign seems perfect to me.

I have helped someone in my church and many people online to deal with demons, but I only work with them to give them faith. IN the end, they are the ones who banish it in the end.

I do not believe that people can actually kill demons. I do believe that you can remove them and send them off somewhere far away, but I’ve never heard of someone actually killing a demon. As far as I know, energy cannot be destroyed, only changed. Yes, God can remove them…wait, isn’t that what the Church teaches?
