I Love both the Old and the New Mass because…
They bring the Lord Jesus to me
They bring the Lord Jesus to me
no problemRonRule & Windmill - would you mind me using those, possibly in signatures?
I like it: using the new Motu Proprio lingo. Now THAT’s catchy! Talk about mystifying the people! They won’t know whether to get angry or be pleased.
And what if you’re driving ad occidentem? How about:
FOLLOW ME: I AM GOING AD ORIENTUM
Then that would be an “ad addicent-um.” Sorry, terrible Latin pun, had to do it.And what if you’re driving ad occidentem?

Then that would be an ad accident-um.And what if you’re driving ad occidentem?

All roads lead to Rome!I’m so confused. Are there no roads where the traffic heads westward - or is every single road a one way street heading to the east coast? (and then you drive off the map and into the ocean…)

Actually, it all makes perfect sense to me.“FOLLOW ME, I AM GOING AD ORIENTUM” would be a way of saying, 'I face East when at worship (such as at a TLM), why don’t you check it out).
But, I see your point. Taken on the literal level, the pun might break down if the car is driving northward, southward, or westward.
But, to say that facing ad-occidentum would be an
‘ad-accidentum’ is akin to saying that facing any way but East at worship is a mistake (or an accident of liturgical reform).
OK, I cannot save it,… it is just a flawed pun.
Tailgate my fiddleback…How about something more simple like,
I BRAKE FOR SUBDEACONS
That would get them scratching their heads.
How about this one -Just a quickie…

edit: arg, didn’t realize I got sorta beaten on the ‘better in Latin’ line… oh well!
Except Mirdath identifies herself as “agnostic.”How about this one -
“Even Atheists love the TLM”

Or:Except Mirdath identifies herself as “agnostic.”
Perhaps: “Even Agnostics are sure the TLM is best!”
Or, maybe, simply “Follow My Fiddleback!”Actually, it all makes perfect sense to me.
Tailgate my fiddleback…
(insert an image of an old chasualble here)
… and let me lead you to the TLM
If the road happens to be architected to face westward, you can still drive liturgically eastward while going westward.I’m so confused. Are there no roads where the traffic heads westward
Remember, no matter how flawed a pun is, flawed poetry is still verse.OK, I cannot save it,… it is just a flawed pun.
