Today I’ve been struggling a lot with this feeling of desolation, like I’ve somehow committed a mortal sin. The only thing that seems to be close to a mortal sin is when I ate meat last friday and failed to substitute it with another penance. What is odd is that I took communion twice since then, but I wasn’t aware of having possibly committed a mortal sin until today, when I got this sense that I had failed to serve God with my whole heart and need to be converted while I was taking communion. I feel confused and desolate, and I know my feelings are suspect, and don’t determine spiritual reality, but it’s something I’ve been wrestling with today and wanted to offer it for the intentions of anyone who can spare a quick prayer.
I also wanted to ask for the grace to finish a commission that’s due tommorrow. I’ve been dealing with a major creative block with it and I need to break through it. Thank you all for your prayers, your prayers have been instrumental to my making it into the church and persevering, and I thank you so much for them.

**Our Father,
Who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen. **

Hi B,

Prayers said for you, for your intentions.

May God bless you during this stressful time for you.

I offered a prayer for you to know God’s grace and to know His forgiveness in light of your repentant heart. God bless

Rachel

Just wanted to let you know that the enemy will infouence our imagination and hence emotions, so we should treat disturbances like this as temptations, despite its being weird that we would be tempted to something we normally shun. The evil one will do anything to get our minds off God and what we are supposed to be doing!

Hail Mary…

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.
