It takes a great deal of self-control to not say, “I told you so!! :D:D:D” to all the people that have become disappointed with our Dear Leader.

The only reason I don’t do it is because this is serious. True suffering is going to result from this. People are losing their homes, their jobs, their health insurance.

It is not a game. Government is not a place to embark on social experiments. Real people get hurt.

And the truth is, this was absolutely foreseeable.
Well, you see, only REAL people get hurt. He AINT REAL!

:amen:

His biggest problem is coming soon, there are many videos of his speech where he clearly tells people, “if they like their current health plan, they can keep it”, but now we are finding out that is not true at all, If I had received a letter saying I had to get new health insurance, I would send them that speech when Obama clearly tells people they can keep current plans if they choose, there is nothing that can be done, this came directly from the president!
Yep,now the media spin on this is Obama was/is just a hapless innocent in all this.He really didn’t know as he was never informed of what was really in the ACA:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Either way, knowingly deceiving the citizens or not, this doesn’t bode well for him!

We must never despair of another’s salvation. Let’s pray. God is always at work…

I think the thread is more discussing despair over Obama doing anything good in this country, rather than despair over his soul.

Nothing will be done to him.
Because the MSM just will not ask the hard questions of him or his administration. Where is Bob Woodword now? If any of their shenanigans had taken place in a Republican administration the MSM would have been all over it like honey on a bear. But because he’s one of them, they ignore it all. So much for a “free and impartial press”.

Anyone that criticizes either him or his administration is quickly shut down by having the epithet “racist” hurled at them.

My expectations of Obama were always so low that nothing he has done has disappointed me.

And, no matter how low anybody here thinks my expectations of Obama were and are, my expectations were and are lower than that.

No anger, no rage, no disappointment, no despair, no anything at all. Nothing, totally cold and indifferent. Nope, if anything, he isn’t quite as bad as I thought he would be.

And I had no hope for the other side either.

My thoughts and priorities are on things other than politics. To me, that’s just the cold hard reality of the situation.

I said in another thread that I need to get back to prayer that means something, and now that I’m calm and collected, I think I ought to use this opportunity to do some very sober praying. Gotta get my rosary . . .

👍👍
Pat Albertson, you’ve got the right idea.

This kind is only driven out by prayer and fasting!

I didn’t vote for Obama because I knew he was deceiving everyone from the beginning.

I was not surprised or shocked during the first 4 years because I also had no expectations of this president. my hope was americans would wake up in those 4 years and realize there grave error and elect someone who would begin facing the real problems of the country - jobs, economy, etc.

what shocked me was his re-election and realizing I was going to have to find some way to survive another 4 years while he continued to make bad decisions and laugh in our faces.

people have suffered under Obama and, sadly, people have given up. our president is supposed to be helping the country, not hurting the citizens and our way of life.

I have despaired greatly under Obama and am still astounded at the people who continue to support him. to me, he is evil and a liar and is so arrogant that he thinks he can talk his way out of everything. how much more can we take?

Obama had many doing cartwheels when he swore to make the rich pay their fair share. Some knew that in those words he really “considers” the middle class rich because of his liberal “world view”. He believes that all Americans have and are profiting off the poorest, not only in the US but the world. We as a nation are to be taught a lesson through liberation theology. If you do not know what liberation theology is, please educate yourself. The country has been so dumbed down and we are paying for it…the world will pay for it because as we produce less many will go hungry…

Also consider: a statement by Soviet Leader Nikita Khrushchev in 1959:
“We cannot expect Americans to jump from capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving Americans small doses of socialism until they suddenly awake to find they have Communism.”
I am astonished at the degree of ‘progress’ the U.S. has made in making Krushchev’s prediction come true. Even after winning the Cold War and the general collapse of communism in Russia, the U.S. seems intent on making the Soviet leader a prescient seer.

A lot of that has to do with the leftist prof’s indoctrinating our young adults with their liberal pablum. This even goes for many of the so called Catholic Colleges.Outside of Steubabville, and a handful of others ,There is very little difference between secular and Catholic higher ed:mad: Actually, this indoctrination is going on as early as grade school:eek:

And we are forced to financially back it with our tax dollars!

We have already lost more freedom than most people know. Only those of us, I would say over 55, would know. It has been a slow boil over fifty years. Little by little. Change and more change and conditioning to yet more change.

I am glad I am not going to be around in another fifty years. I can’t imagine what will be acceptable to Americans by then that they now hold in abhorrence.

Both my children were astonished at the latitude “diversity” was given at Duquesne and Carlow Universities in Pittsburgh. They were viewed as being too "traditional.

I rarely venture out of the traditional section here on CAF, but I just can’t take this man and the willful blindness of the American people anymore. :o

Yes. I was surprised by one that was “confused” by the Traditionalists opinions.

Last night on churchmilitant.tv show Mic’d Up the guest was Alan Keyes, a black man who was formerly an ambassador and at one time a presidential candidate. He calls Obama a “Communist”. I wonder since Dr Keyes is also black how could they call him “racist”?
