I’m constantly tempted to fall into despair, I’ve suffered faith crisis past weeks, and I fell into many sins against Chasity including one with a prostitute, abusing God’ mercy (Giving the fact that I fell into sin already planning my next confession), I already confessed. But when I realize how mocking I was I get terrified, considering that I imagined Christ suffering on his calvary and ignored, getting obstinated in sin. And after reading a text of St. Alphonsus Mary of Liguori on souls that abuse God’ mercy, I felt despair, but still a light of hope, because in the same text it says that a soul abandoned by God is left ‘enjoying’ on his owns sins, and doesn’t repent neither remorse.
I want to feel Peace that God pardoned me, and never fell into those horrible sins again. I also have scrupulosity on many things, and I’ve been feeling guilty from days.

Please pray for me

Praying for your intentions.

Judas betrayed Jesus for money and afterwards he was filled with sorrow and despair, even giving the money back. However, even though regretted his actions there was not a genuine repentance turning back to God. He was too focused on himself and his regret. As a result he ended his own life out of despair.

Peter, on the other hand denied Jesus 3 times. After which he too was filled with sorrow and regret. Peter, though, eventually reconciled with Jesus. It was Jesus asking Peter, ‘Do you love me?’ three times. Peter replied each time yes Lord you know that I love you.

God never calls us into despair over our sins. Despair is without hope and comes from the evil one or our own focus on the negative and thinking things will never change. Jesus, instead asks us to trust in Him and his mercy and grace. It may seem hopeless to us at times but remember Jesus said what is impossible for man is still possible for God. Therefore, our salvation does not rest on our own efforts alone but on God who is the author and perfecter of our faith.

God knew we were going to sin and he still died for us anyways. We may have fallen, but with the help of Christ and his Church in the Sacrements we can get back up. The question is do we love Jesus enough to trust in Him and follow his lead? Can we receive his love and forgiveness for us? Or are we too caught up in our own sorrow and despair? It’s our love that God wants, not our despair.

for peace

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us. Lord, hear my prayer for this persons intentions and have mercy on the whole world. (x10)

I did pray a decade of my daily Divine Mercy Chaplet for your intention.

God still wants you as His child. That’s why he’s sending remorse to your heart. If God didn’t care about you, He would simply let you be and He wouldn’t call you back. I thank God that you are remorseful; may this remorse lead to repentance. I pray that God heals you of despair and that He is near to you during this difficult time. Amen.

Prayer for Repentance and Conversion

O God, in Your great mercy and love, grant that we may
sincerely and thoroughly repent from all our sins, and
humbly and devoutly receive Your forgiveness through
the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Grant this same grace
to other poor sinners, especially those most in need
of Your mercy. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer for the Virtue of Chastity

Jesus, Fortress of Humankind, bless us with Your
infinite graces, that we may remain in a state of purity.

Strengthen our bodies, spirits, and souls to continually
reflect Your chastity. Protect our souls in our daily
struggles, guiding us to ponder Your Godliness.

Defend us from the forces of evil, those that seek
to acquire our souls: We are truly Yours forever and
ever. Holy is our King, the Conqueror of Sin! Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

O Christ Jesus

When all is darkness

And we feel our weakness and helplessness,

Give us the sense of Your Presence,

Your Love and Your Strength.

Help us to have perfect trust

In Your protecting love

And strengthening power,

So that nothing may frighten or worry us,

For, living close to You,

We shall see Your Hand,

Your Purpose, Your Will through all things.

Amen.

Let Nothing Disturb You

Let nothing disturb you,

Let nothing frighten you,

All things are passing away:

God never changes.

Patience,

Obtains all things,

Whoever has God

Lacks nothing:

God alone suffices.
