:eek::eek::eek:

I’m 5 years older :o
Nothing wrong with that. That’s a fairly small age difference, especially for those over 25. Still, if you don’t want to date someone you found over the internet, I couldn’t quarrel with that.

I would say join a Catholic dating service or a secular which you can set up matches based on values like eHarmony. Dating is can be frustrating, but take it slowly and try to enjoy the process with Christian limits. There will be certain times that will make you doubt your self worth if rejection comes from someone your took a fancy to. Sometimes it will be like an episode of the twilight zone or Seinfeld. Just be patient, keep your humor and remember that the person you marry will be the person raising with you a child; you have to ask yourself could if you would be comfortable with that person raising with you what children you would have.

This happens in God’s time, and I hear you about getting frustrated with God if you are trying to live the Christian live and hope for a good Christian wife.

God Bless

If I may ask, what types of things do you consider a “good” Catholic woman? You don’t have to answer (obviously) but you may want to consider whether or not you are looking for something so narrow and specific that you will never find what you are looking for. I read this great book a while back called “How to Know if Someone is Worth Pursuing in Two Dates or Less.” Basically, you will have to have taken notes based on your past dating relationships about what you like and didn’t like so you can list the top three traits you “must have” and the top three traits you “can’t stand.” The idea is that if someone has all three of your “must haves” and none of your “can’t stands,” the person is worth looking into.
Hey thanks for the post! I do have a list going. The big deal breakers for me are the ones that go against the Catholic faith (pre-marital sex, contraception, weekly church attendance, etc…) and those do seem to be the ones that thin the herd the most as far as dating goes in Canada. Attraction is important also, but it’s funny how that when a woman is really honestly immersed in her faith a lot of those details tend to be taken care of by themselves!
Final note, it appears that you (MidnightSun12 ) are male and that SeekNFind is female and about your age … just-throwing-that-out-there-with-no-ulterior-motives-at-all. :rolleyes:
I think SeekNFind seems to be a great lady with a good head on her shoulders! Thanks for throwing that out there! 😉
