I’m sorry that you are feeling despair right now, but try not to think that this is how you will feel forever. We all get down in a valley, and things sometimes seem hopeless because we are so far down, that we can no longer see out. But if you work at it a little bit at a time, you will work your way back up.

You are a part of our CAF family, and when one of us hits a rough spot, the rest of us will help pick you up. Lean on us for a time and rest, that’s what we’re here for.

I will say a daily Rosary for you, and keep you in my prayers friend.
 
Jesus said “Peace I give you. My peace I leave you. A peace the world cannot give. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.”

May you experience of the Peace and Love of Our Lord Jesus Christ in your heart now and from this day forwards. May the joy of the promise of God’s eternal love and his guarantee of eternal life through His Son take root, grow and flower in your heart. May the Holy Spirit comfort you and guide you from your despair to hope and happiness.

Jesus is asking you not to despair, but instead just to come to Him and be loved.

Another suggestion is to spend time in the book of Psalms.
Especially Psalm 23:

The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down
in green pastures; He leads
me beside the still waters
He stores my soul; He
leads me in the paths of righ-
teousness for His name’s
sake.
Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the
shadow of death, I will fear
no evil; for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table for me be-
fore me in the presence of
my enemies; You annoint my
head with oil; My cup runs
over.
Surely goodness and
mercy shall follow me all the
days of my life; and I will
dwell in the house of the
Lord forever.

Praying for you flyingkites. So many of us here on this forum know despair and we are always willing to listen to you and pray for your needs. If you wish, you can tell us what is going on that causes you despair. We may be able to help with the wisdom God has granted to us in our own situations. We comfort with the comfort that God has given us.

Please let us know how you are doing and if we can help in any way. Jesus, we trust in You!
