Desperat for Prayers : Please Help!

To make a long story short, we had some problems with our mortgage. We were offered a lower rate and we thought everything was going to be o.k. We got the money in - before it was due - but they didn’t get the agreement. They said they tried to get in touch with us but never wrote or e-mailed just tried one number. Anyway, Please just pray that they’re able to offer us this same thing again - that there’s a way to fix it. We don’t want to loose our home and I’m just praying there’s some way to fix this. Please pray that the underwriter’s heart is open to helping us, we don’t loose the house and that I’m able to handle the stress that goes along with this.

Praying for your mortgage/home situation, that it would all work out in your favor.
 
God will provide. It sounds almost too simple, but somehow it always works. Prayer usually helps! Here is my prayer for you: The Lord’s Prayer

I’ve been in your shoes twice now after illnesses in the family. They will work with you. Call them everyday to check in until the deal is cut. That’s the best thing to do in this situation. Once they assign someone to your case everything rolls out like a red carpet. It’s called a Loan Modification. God will provide, just do your part to contact them. Do NOT depend on them to contact you. They should but make sure by getting the person’s name and the case number. That is your road to salvation in this crisis. I’ll offer up prayers for you tonight.
 
You will be in my prayers. May the Lord meet all of your spiritual and temporal needs.

Thank you all for your prayers. I called Friday and was told that the mo ney we had sent in was being used towards our balance. I tried to call tonight, as I felt I should to see if they got the faxes I sent in this weekend about our financial status, etc. The computer said that they had nothing under our loan number or our social security number. That’s never happened before, It wouldn’t let me go to a live person, I guess it was too late. I will try again this morning. We thought we had the loan modification, but they didn’t get the signed agreement. They said they called but somehow our phone wound up getting crossed with another name so we were getting weird messages-we’re not sure if the car wreck caused it or what. Plus the lady we spoke to said we only needed to speak to her that they still had this as something they needed to call about to get payment. I should have called in more often, but I can’t change that now. Just trying to update you. We got a thing mentioning to call the lawyer, but we also got a call on the phone to call them. Just trying to update all of you wonderful people who are praying with/for me/us. I’m praying that the girl who was with the VA loans underwritting will call me, i’ve left I don’t know how many messages with her but she doesn’t seem to call us back. We just get a recording from “Jessica” saying to call in. I’m trying the Infant of Prague Novena. Please continue to pray that all will be well and we won’t loose the house. I’m very scared, but doing my best to try to rest in the Lord and not stress out too much.
God Bless all of you. I’m praying that we’ll be able to get this fixed this week if possible and if it’s the Lord’s Will.

Thank you so much for your advice and prayers. It’s good to know someone else has gone through this too. I won’t go into how this happened but I do admit I did screw up some. All we’re interested in is keeping the house. It’s with Wells Fargo - I didn’t think I was allowed to put that up, but I didn’t know. Please continue to pray for us. We had everything ready - wehad gotten the money the required together and we thought we had done everything. We had a lower rate and a lower monthly payment. Granted we were having to gain another year on the mortgage, but as long as we could keep the house, we felt like we could catch up. Anyway, at one point, something happened with our phone. Somehow someone else got assigned the number - we were getting lots of calls not for us and we believe someone else was getting ours. Still our number comes up this other person’s name but it seems like we’re getting our calls now. Anyway, they didn’t get the signed agreement. Any other time they needed something they sent a letter - they also had our e-mail but for some reason this time they didn’t write to us. They just kept calling (they’ve said)i. I did ask if they had tried writing like they always had before and I was told “no”. So now when I called up friday they were wanting all of our information as far as our financial stuff and hardship letter, paystub, etc. I got all the information and I wasn’t sure on part of it as my husbands paycheck had changed some. Anyway, I told her that I would get back with them when I got the information. She made a note of that and over the weekend, I faxed in some of the information and also a letter to the VA underwritter who was helping us before. She won’t return any of our calls. I was told it had been moved away from there and was now technically in “foreclosure” status, although there was no sale date, thank God! I’m kind of freaked out a little right now as I tried calling Wells Fargo earlier, but they said (the automated thing) that there was nothing under our loan number or the social it was under. I couldn’t get a live person and they said I needed (the automated system again), to call back between 6 am and 10 eastern time, so I guess I’ll try again. They seem pretty angry that they couldn’t get a hold of me and I feel stupid for not having called in. Any other time we would get something in the mail saying that they didn’t have something. The only thing we got this time was our tax information and then a letter saying that the agreement was no longer viable. I had been (when not recovering from the car wreck) helping take care of my dad who had a stroke. Thank you for your prayers and I hope you’ll continue to pray. I will do almost anything to keep from loosing the house, but I don’t know what else to do. I wish I could go back in time - I just can’t believe that they won’t just have me send in another copy of the agreement - but again thank you for the prayers and advice. I’m going to go do the Infant of Prague Novena again - I’m doing it every hour for 9 hours, or I’ll do my best to at least.
