Hello everybody; I wanted to ask for prayers for Michael M’s sister who has pancreatic cancer. Sadly, it is inoperable due to its invading a major artery. The doctors can do no more, and the family was told to say their last goodbyes in the hospital. Miraculously, she became healthy enough to be sent home with hospice. Perhaps this is a sign from God. Prayers are their last hope, but there is great power in prayer. She is a young widow with children. Thank you for any prayers for her and her family.

Prayer to St. Peregrine

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty” and “The Wonder-Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure Michael’s sister. Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Michael’s sister, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to her. Comfort her during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant her peace and patience in suffering. May God give her the fullness of life here on earth, or call her home to eternal glory forever. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Michael M’s sister. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Michael M’s sister’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer for Cancer

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick, we turn to You in this time of
illness. O dearest Comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with
Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden of cancer. Dear God, we place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant, Michael’s sister, to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will and know that whatsoever You do, You do for the love of us. Amen.

Bless, O God, all who struggle with cancer.
Empower them with hope for each and every day.
Provide them with loving and tender care, laughter,
and the support of love.

Grant them courage when they are afraid,
comfort when they are in pain,
and your blessing when all else seems hopeless,
that in their fight with illness they may continue to
praise you and glorify your name.

Amen.
