CHAPLET TO GOD’S MERCY**

Using normal rosary beads,begin with:

The Lord’s Prayer : Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed
be Thy name…… Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee…….
the Apostles Creed :I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven …

On the five large beads :

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood,Soul and
Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son,Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the ten small beads :
V. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
R. Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

At the end of the Divine Mercy Chaplet say three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy
Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Invocation: O Blood and Water that gushed forth from
the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us,
I trust in You (3 times)

Sign of the Cross :in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

My gratitude for those praying - I am feeling stronger and I know it is through Christ and the vehicle has been through your prayers. Nothing is resolved, but I am getting stronger. Please pray for my son’s girlfriend who is having surgery in 40 minutes. God bless you all.

God love ya! He doesn’t promise us an easy road but He does promise not to give us more than we can carry. And He’s the expert at carrying crosses. He’ll take the weight off ya.
 
You sure are having a very worrying and concerning time which is a real cross and suffering. I was very happy to read that since your OP you now feel stronger than you did - Deo Gratius.
I will be praying that the personal problems that press with urgency in your family as well as your employment and finances will start to improve and relieve you of this very trying time in your life. I shall put it all in the hands of Mary of Perpetual Help, St. Joseph The Worker, and the Infant of Prague who is appealled to re finances.
Praying too for your son’s girlfriend that all will unfold happily in her direction restoring her to good and happy health.

God bless you and keep you and relieve you of these tremendous burdens…through which I pray you will be drawn even closer to Jesus…Barb
 
Thank you one and all. My son’s girlfriend did have surgery Friday and did well. She was going to a baby shower yesterday for a friend who at the last minute decided not to have an abortion whom she wanted to support and was in a car accident. She was not hurt, but incurred damages to the car and property. I do not have the means to help these kids financially and don’t know what is to become of them. There has been no break yet financially, but we are praying. I know the Lord will provide, but extra prayers certainly will help us, at least in allowing us to rest in His confidence. God bless you.
 
Joyed to read that there was no abortion, and of the loving Charity of your son’s girfriend who sought to be a support in the situation. And then concerned to read of the accident. I will continue to put the whole situation and all involved into the hands of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Joseph The Worker, and the Infant of Prague who is appealled to re finances. Sometimes God does move in very strange ways and we cannot at all see anything, in our human logic, of a plan…yet there is one and we rest in Dark and Naked Faith and trustful confidence which we may not be able to feel.

So many of you have been so kind and gracious in prayer. I am feeling so much stronger, working to rest in God, as I should have done in the first place. It is so hard to give up our worry and concern and relinquish to our Father, but I am learning.

Today I ask for prayers, for Jessica - my son’s girlfriend. She was admitted to the hospital yet again yesterday - still having pain, losing the stint that was to stay in till Wednesday, missing a job interview to do so. They don’t know what is wrong with her. They are two months behind on bills and no insurance. They are trying, but it is a very frightening time. Please pray for Adam and Jessica and Baby Addison. I have tried to get them some assitance but you needed to be on the list by September for help for Christmas. Just want help with food, utilities, gas and diapers. Please pray for their situation. I am most humbly in your debt and carry your prayer intentions, whatever they are, with me. God bless you.

Can you contact your parish for a reference to Catholic Relief Services or other local stopgap assistance?

I have - our pastoral associate is out of town and I have not had a response yet. I will keep trying there and other agencies.
 
Keeping Adam and Jessica with Baby Addison in daily prayer with the Infant of Prague who is appealled to in cases of financial stress…and praying too that Jessica’s health will be restored in full…
