Thy Kingdom come.

You guys have prayed so hard for us during our trials and I cannot find words to properly express my gratitude. I FOUND A JOB!!! I start work on Tuesday with a law firm. After so many many months of not working, God has answered our prayers. Thanks be to our loving Creator!..I am finally slowly making a recovery to “normal” (I think) and each day is a little easier than the last. There are things that still prey on my mind and thoughts …especially during the last month before Joe’s passing and what his children have done. Counselling and my conversations with the priest have made it clear I must learn to forgive (not only them but myself as well). The biggest part that is stopping me is what has happened to my mom financially. The counselor told me Joe had all the personality traits of a sociopath (I believe that is the word) in that to the outside world (even me and mom) things were said and done to get what he wanted. The catholic counselor described Joe to a “T” without my even mentioning personality traits. It hurts so bad to think that part of the personality was to gain financially for his benefit and his children through my mom. I don’t think I can forgive that! but in time perhaps it will come. The good news about my job is the best…Through your prayers for me and God leading the way…this finally unfolded. It is an area of law I don’t have hands-on experience in but I’m reading everything I can. In an earlier post I mentioned how Joe’s children has taken everys ingle item out of our apartment (even things belonging to my mom) and another forum member (God Bless Him) is helping me with this. It just isn’t right for my mom to lose her stuff and things she and dad accumulated over the years. In any event, things will go according to God’s plan and I will live with the outcome. I love each of you …and ALL OF YOU are in my prayers each day. With your own struggles, you have found time to pray for us. I thank you from the bottom of my heart!. I love you…ALL OF YOU…DIANE
