Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done,
on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us.Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, as is and
ever shall be, world without end.
Amen

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell,
lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of Your Mercy.
Amen

My dear friends in Christ. I know I have been away from CAF for a bit. Since Joe died in May I have been fired from 3 jobs. I think God is telling me that law is not where I need to be. If you asked me what my profession was…I’d answer paralegal. But if you asked me what my calling is…I’d say helping others. I have been at the lowest point ever…not wanting to even talk to anyone…the lowest was last week when (and I have asked for forgiveness for this) I wanted to just leave this earthly life. I had a plan in place and at the time thought mom would be better off living with her sister in Memphis. I wrote my will, wrote out detailed instructions for my mom and had a plan to just pass away in my sleep. Divine intervention stopped me though. The next morning I headed down to Catholic Charities and am getting through this. They aren’t charging me and their support is truly God speaking to me through them (as He does through you). I was fired (once again) on Friday. No warning…no nothing…just that I wasn’t a good fit. I’m just out of practice in law and much more in practice with caregiving. I’m praying daily …hourly…that God shows me how He wants me to live and to reveal His plan for me. Please keep me and mom in your prayers. We are financially as unstable or as low as one can get yet we still were able to borrow some money from my mom’s sister to pay rent this month. I just got home from mass and something hit me like a ton of bricks. The quote was “church is church and business is business”…I am living proof of that. The people (most of them anyway) profess to be Christians but when it comes to a field like law…money making for the firms always come first. God’s exception is Justin (aka Michael Collins) who is helping me even though he has had some major setbacks in his life and is suffering from them now. Please keep Justin in your prayers. He survived pancreatic cancer (My husband didn’t) and he is under so much stress…I love you all and I pray that you know and can feel my love for you event hough I haven’t been on the forum lately. I have a counseling appt tomorrow and with God’s help, this will be a new beginning for me. I just don’t know what the plan is as it has not unfolded. I love you all and I PROMISE to make my presence known daily…God’s richest blessings upon all of you…Diane

I have tried to respond to you 3 times now. Each time I type it out…it signs me off of the site before it sends properly.
I have read most of your postings from beginning to end.
Here is my two cents…
I have had several loved ones pass in my life. The first thing to be a casualty at the end of life and at funerals is communication between the loved ones of the deceased.
Every one loves their home town.
Some bridges were broken because of sour things being said about anothers home.
The one thing you need to take into the future is that you said your husband told you he loved you…the day before he died.
Everything else is just lessening the quality of the remainder of your life.
You are not the first couple to spend your death decomposing apart from one another.
If I were you, and this will not let you be…you need to mend the fences. Try to humble yourself, and go about it by recognizing the pain that your husbands other loved ones were going through. If you acknowledge their hurt they may start looking at what you were going through.
If this course does not bear fruit I would consider cremation for myself and have my ashes spread on or near my spouses grave.

You need to be concerned about the rest of your life…if you want to see him in eternity.
Harboring anger goes against the commandment of Thou shalt not kill.
Pray on it.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Dennis
Dennis. It’s hard…Very hard for me…I’m trying to do the best I can and with God’s help, CAF prayers and the Catholic counselling…I know that I can make it through this. Thank you for your advice though…My own situation has been very complicated. Blessings, Diane

Dearest Diane,

I am so happy to see you on the forum again, I too have been gone for awhile.

I am so sorry to hear about your job losses, but I will pray that the Lord will continue to help you in your job search.

I pray that counseling will help you. I have been down the path of thinking about leaving my earthly life too and came close, but I prayed and asked for forgiveness and found a wonderful counselor who helped me through.

I will keep you, your mom and Justin in my prayers. Diane, you are a wonderful person and a very loving daughter, just remember that. We all love and care for you here on the forum.

Love & Hugs,
Cassie

Loving God,

We lift up our continued intentions on behalf of our sister Diane and her mother. Lord, our sister has endured much suffering, many trials, and has been faced with many difficult choices. We know that you often place these challenges in our lives to help with our formation, and you always provide a way out, but things have become very hard on our sister and we ask for your blessings, mercy, and indication of your unconditional love to strengthen her and help her to follow the path you have for her life. Please grant Diane strong faith, courage, and continued hope in your divine providence, O Lord. Please also bless her dear mother and help Diane to find suitable employment with benefits. Lord, our sister has been through a tremendous amount in the last several months and years, and we ask for some share of peace and grace for her now.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, empowered by your Holy Spirit, who live and reign with you, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.
