Desperately want to be pure

my parish priest recently said that you cant just say one hail mary and expect everything to be ok, well i beg to differ, i cant do this my self, im simply not that strong and i dont want to beat myself up constantly for being weak, that being said i dont want to be punished for this but i want to be pure to finally not deal with this anymore

i strongly believe Our Father will hear us this time

In addition to the excellent advice given above,
PRAY THE ROSARY
Dont fall into despair or dont get discouraged,
Jesus knows the struggles that you are going through and that you want to be pure so ask His help and ask our dear Mother Mary to help.
Pray 3 Hail Mary s in the Morning and in the Night for purity.
Try to develop self control over all your senses and your thoughts
Remeber not all bad thouht is a sin but only when bad thoight with consent becoems a sin, i read that last line in St.Faustina s diary.
Will pray for you to our dear Mother.
