Desperately worried for my son and his choices in life

Lord thankyou for hearing all our prayers for Tom.I continue to pray that he will be guided by You and change his attitude about his life get a job and become a mature responsible adult.He has so many wonderful qualities but he is so caught up in this young frame of mind of irresponsibility. I pray he will become the wonderful young man I know he can be.I pray that Your will be done for him.Amen

O Holy Patroness of those in need, St. Rita, because thy pleadings before thy Divine Lord are almost irresistible, and because, thou hast been lavish in the granting of favors, thou hast been called the Advocate of the Hopeless and even of the Impossible. St. Rita, so humble, so pure, so mortified, so patient and of such compassionate love for thy Crucified Jesus, thou couldst obtain from Him whatsoever thou askest especially:

a resolution to all Tom’s legal, physical, emotional and spiritual problems and renewed peace for all in Teresa’s family

Because of your power, all confidently have recourse to thee, expecting, if not always relief, at least comfort. Be propitious to our petition, showing thy power with God on behalf of thy suppliant. Be lavish to us, as thou hast been in so many wonderful cases, for the greater glory of God, for the spreading of thine own devotion, and for the consolation of those who trust in thee. We promise, if our petition is granted, to glorify thee by making known thy favor, to bless and sing thy praises forever. Amen.

Today, feast of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, I entrusted Tom specially to the protective care of Our Lady:

Jesus, we trust in You!

We take refuge under thy protection,
O holy Mother of God;
despise not our prayers for Teresa and Tom
in their necessities,
but deliver them always from all dangers,
O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.

As they wait for the next court date, I ask you Lord, to bless our friend Teresa as she struggles with doing the right thing for her son. Help her to let go where she needs to and trust in Your ways. Relieve her of any guilt she is feeling about her son’s situation and help her realize that he is responsible for his own actions even when he tries to involve them in the drama of the life he chooses.

Come into Tom’s heart Lord, that he will free his parents of feeling they have to be there to correct his mistakes. Give him an awakening to the pain he is causing them by his continued bad choices, an awakening that will bring genuine and lasting change in his life, and not lip service to manipulate them for his own good.

Help Tom to move toward the life You will for him,** however he has to get there**. I also ask that you keep Teresa and her husband united in all decisions concerning Tom so that he is not a cause of disagreement or frustration for them. I ask this through the intercession of Your Most Holy Mother, Mary.

Merciful God , I ask you , both humbly and sincerely to watch over Teresa’s youngest son, Tom, and keep him safe . Lord , please continue to help him , and guide him to make the right choices in his life . Please help him to realise and be sorry for the distress and worry he is causing his mother , our dear friend Teresa , Help him grow in maturity in his life , and accept responsibility both for himself and also for his lovely young children . Please help , comfort and sustain his mother in her worry , despair and distress. Merciful God , we trust in Your love and compassion . Amen .

Dear Lord please bless and sustain Teresa through this time and please instill in Tom’s life a great need to know Your love and friendship.

Holy Mary, full of the presence of God during your life you accepted with great humility the Holy Will of the Father and the legacy of your Son Our Lord Jesus Christ. Evil never dared to entangle you with its confusion.
Since then you have interceded for all of our difficulties. With all simplicity and patience you have given us examples on how to untangle the knots in our complicated lives. By being our Mother forever, you arrange and make clear the path that unites us to Our Lord.
Holy Mary, Mother of God and ours, with your maternal heart untie the knots that upset our lives. We ask you to receive in your hands

Tom and Teresa

and deliver us from the chains and confusions that have us restrained.
Blessed Virgin Mary, through your grace, your intercession and by your example, deliver us from evil and untie the knots that keep us from uniting with God, so that once free of every confusion and error, we may find Him in all things, have Him in our hearts and serve him always in our brothers and sisters.
Mother of Good Counsel pray for us .

Sacred Heart of Jesus please wrap your arms around teresa and Tom. PLease guide Tom in making better decisions, please help realize that the decisions he makes affects other family members
