As today is the court date, I ask you Lord, to bless our friend Teresa as she struggles with doing the right thing for her son. Help her to let go where she needs to and trust in Your ways. Relieve her of any guilt she is feeling about her son’s situation and help her realize that he is responsible for his own actions even when he tries to involve them in the drama of the life he chooses.
Come into Tom’s heart Lord, that he will free his parents of feeling they have to be there to correct his mistakes. Give him an awakening to the pain he is causing them by his continued bad choices, an awakening that will bring genuine and lasting change in his life, and not lip service to manipulate them for his own good.
Help Tom to move toward the life You will for him,** however he has to get there**. I also ask that you keep Teresa and her husband united in all decisions concerning Tom so that he is not a cause of disagreement or frustration for them. I ask this through the intercession of Your Most Holy Mother, Mary.

Today my son was fined and given a community service work order of 150hrs.He also has a 1year probation whereby he will attend the probation service each week and they will help him with alcohol counselling and training to get a job! The Magistrates deliberated for quite some time and it was nerve wracking for a while.When they came back with their decision they told Tom that they were impressed with his progress so far in turning his life around…however this was his last chance! I burst into tears of joy as I was terrified he would go to prison. The Lord works in mysterious and wonderful ways. His ex came to court too (in fact she has been staying with us since Monday) and they have been getting along very well.
My friends I am so grateful to each and every one of you for every single prayer and thought you have given to Tom and my family.I sincerely appreciate every one of you.You all remain in my daily prayers each day for yoru own intentions.I could not have gotten through this very difficult time without yoru love support and prayers.
