Update
I had not heard from Tom for a couple of weeks. He had ignored my calls and txts to him.I have been praying morning and night every day for his safety and God to guide him.
Last night I had a message form Tom to say he had not eaten in 2 days and was freezing cold and homeless. I drove a 70 mile round trip to collect him and bought him a hot meal whilst driving home. He thanked me and was apologetic but I told him I woudl do the same for any homeless person.
I told him I was very unhappy with his behaviour but that I am his mother and cannto give up on him.I have also told him this is a temporary arrangement him staying at home I cannot cope with the stress his behaviour brings.I am desperatelt trying to get him a rented place somewhere.
I thank each one fo you for your prayers and love and support.
May God bless each one of you
Lord thankyou for hearing all our prayers for Tom.I thankyou for keeping him safe all this time and I continue to pray that he will continue to be be guided by You and will grow in a positive and responsible attitude about his life get a job and become a mature responsible adult.I pray he can get a rented home of his own and not cause disorder to our lives any longer. He has so many wonderful qualities but he has been so caught up in this young frame of mind of irresponsibility. I pray he will become the wonderful young man I know he can be.I pray that Your will be done for him. Please keep him safe and guide him to make good judgements and find his way back to being responsible and thankyou that he has been in contact again with his family.Thankyou Lord for Your many blessings Amen
Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen
