Desperately worried for my son and his choices in life

Prayer to Saint Monica
Exemplary Mother of the great Augustine, you perseveringly pursued your wayward son with love and affection and pardon and counsel and powerful cries to heaven. Intercede for all mothers in our day so that they may learn to draw their children to God. Teach them how to remain close to their children, even the prodigal sons and daughters who have sadly gone astray. :signofcross:

Father, I pray you will touch dear Teresa with the strength and guidance she needs to deal with this painful situation. Give her the words that will make a difference to her son. I pray that You will grant her the grace of inner Peace. Give her the patience she needs to cope with the burdens and anxieties of her life, and to be the kind of mother to Tom that he needs.
As You commanded the storm winds at sea to be calm, command the storms in Tom’s life to be calmed. Protect this young man, in spite of himself. And Lord, I pray for a miracle for Tom, that he will look to the Risen Christ for direction. Lord, there is nothing too hard for You. I pray for this hurting family.
