Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Sometimes it is good for us to read about the “spiritual battles” the saints fought:
Despite the peace in my soul, I fight a continuous battle with the enemy of my soul. More and more, I am discovering his traps, and the battle flares up anew. During interludes of calm, I exercise myself and keep watch, lest the enemy find me unprepared. And when I see his great fury, I stay inside the stronghold; that is, the most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
We can mistakenly think the saints had it “easier” than we do, but we forget the Loving Wisdom of God is Infinite – He never gives us more of a burden than we can bear with His grace. He never permits the devil to tempt us beyond our strength. He is Love and all He does or permits others to do He is able to work unto good. Like St. Faustina, let us stay inside the stronghold; that is, the most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Yes, Yes, Yes!!! This is so true 🙂 Our dear Sister Faustina speaks so much to me and I can understand what she shares. I thank our Lord for her witness and prayers for us!

Dear Nelka and miz,

Thanks to you both for your replies, and your appreciation of God’s Great work in humble, little St. Faustina. She learned from Jesus Meek and Humble of Heart, just as our humble Mother Mary and all the saints learned. God resists the proud but He always gives help to the humble. (cf 1 Pet 5:5)
