Destruction of Frozen Embryos

A human fertilized Egg has a human nature; this means the result will always be a human baby. It’s hard to see the problem with pro choice if you think of a fertilized egg as “turning” in to a human being. But this is false concept, and this is because the nature of the egg, once it is fertilized, is already human in nature, and would need the nature of a “human being” in order to develop as one. The Babies origin is human, and no matter what stage of development the unborn child is at, if you have an abortion, you are killing a human life.

If you were able to go back in time and influence my mother to have an abortion, the person I am now, my hopes my dreams, everything that makes me, me, would be dead, and it would be murder, simply because that fertilised egg is apart of “who I am”; it was me at the first stage of my development, and I would not be in existents with out it. A human fertilized egg is a human life, whether that life is aware of its self or not. There’s no doubt about it guys and girls. People are not trying to be horrible and neither are they trying to control women. This is just another excuse to justify murder. Pro choice orgs are largly succesful because they apeal to the currupt human nature, which tends to be Irresponsible, and seeks pleasure with out consequence. They win, not by truth or reason, but by a type emotionalism mixed with a populor ideal. People dont want to feel guilty, so we contantly look for ways to justify ignoring the guilty sides of us. Have sex as much as you like, they say, and abort the child, its not really a baby! pro choice! pro choice! Its my body?

To justify abortion you have to falsely deny that a human embryo, has a human nature and life, and that it does not constitute the first stages of a human life. The devaluing of human life, is not based or any honest or empirical reasoning; it is purly an attempt to justify an evil act. Also, abortion, is a platform used by anti christian oganisations such as socailists. These people prey on the guilt and the emotions of scared young people to cause resentment towards the church for political and social reasons.

You could argue that, if your parents never met, you wouldn’t be born; but you forget that “human life” has to be “actualised” by a unifiying of sperm and egg, and therefore cannot be veiwed as murder in the same way as abortion. A sperm, by its self, does not have a human nature (though it does have half of the genetic code needed for making one); by its self, the sperm will not develop in to a human being, because it isn’t human; neither will any other cell in your body develop in to a baby, and that is because they are not human embryos. However, once the process of life is “actualised”, there’s no going back; its human life developing towards a stage where it can be born, and no amount of denial is going to change that.

Adoption of the frozen embryos is not illicit. They can be implanted in a mother’s womb and given a chance. Rape is certainly immoral, but children are sometimes conceived through an act of rape. It doesn’t make the children thus conceived any less deserving of protection than a frozen embryo baby.

A Nazi doctor at Dachau, Dr. von Rascher, asked for permission to perform deadly experiments on Jewish prisoners in a letter to Himmler by pointing out that the prisoners were going to die anyway. So the university researchers are following in the footsteps of the Nazi doctors by conducting terminal research- a term coined by the Nazis. What ever happened to the talk of “Never Again”?

tjm8 seems to equate any and all acts as being equivalent to the marital act. The marital act can only take place between one man and one woman in marriage and in a chaste manner open to conceiving new life. When it doesn’t fulfill all the above conditions, it is an act of exploitation and self-gratification which has grave moral, economic and social consequences for society. People are gravely effected when they are sexually abused. It carries over into every aspect of their life. It is a matter of JUSTICE.
LOVE is dying in our world because of the sanctioning by governments of such sinful acts, so that the consciences of many are dulled or desentized to the evil of them.
God is Love, so of course the Pope wants to help people learn to love God and one another.

By the way, the Supreme Court in 1973 picked 9 months as the cut-off date for legal abortions, not 3 months. and it is still the law. The states may only regulate where and how such murder on infants will be done after 3 months of gestational age.
