My husband and I are in the process to use NFP. He is not convince and disagree with that but I’m trying. Sometimes I succeed but not always. How many details I have to tell the priest in my confession on which method we use when we fail to use NFP. We don’t use the same one always. Is very embarrassing.
 
Sometimes when I have to confess something embarrassing, I write it down. This way I can just quickly read it. :o Otherwise, I tend to mumble, talk fast and basically make no sense!

If you mean that you are using artificial birth control methods or otherwise performing immoral acts, you don’t need to be specific about which methods you are using (e.g. “last night we chose a condom, but 2 nights before I used a diaphragm”). If you are truly sorry for choosing artificial birth control and are committed to not using it again, you just need to confess that you have been using artificial birth control.
