Good for you for starting NFP! It can be difficult sometimes to find a good instructor in your area. When I was preparing for marriage, there were none in or near my city (a fairly large city) and I ended up teaching myself from a book. I agree with the previous poster that the Couple to Couple League is a wonderful resource, but I must add that they teach the Sympto-Thermal Method of NFP. This is a little more time-consuming and knowlege-intensive than the Billings Method, but it is perhaps more accurate and involves fewer days of abstinence. It is also really reassuring to have two or three signs to rely on instead of just one. If you are able to get up on a fairly regular schedule, I would strongly advise you call Couple to Couple League and sign up and learn about the temperature sign.
(And in answer to your question, yes!)
