**Devastation and Rebirth
**
Nature has many powerful destructive happenings,
Strong winds, thunderstorms, hails, and lightnings,
Hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, and mighty tornadoes,
Supernovae, solar flares, earthquakes, and volcanoes.
These events strike hard and devastate living creatures,
Transform the surroundings quickly and change its features.
Human lives and constructions can be injured or destroyed,
Particularly if advanced planning for these is not employed.
But out of these devastations comes a wonderful rebirth,
New materials created, source of new life and renewed earth.
Nature’s long lifecycle revolves through death to new birth,
Using aspects of what was there before for building new worth.
In God’s eternal plan of life, these natural cycles transform,
Seeming disastrous, bringing out life in a glorious new form.
Trillions of cycles have taken hydrogen to where humans can be
Living on a habitable planet in a friendly solar system in this galaxy.
