Ever since I have decided to become a member of the Church 1 and a half years ago, I have tested for a deeper relationship with Our Lady. Heck, I even (with shame I confess) desired that as an evangelical! About half a year ago I suddenly was just completely fine with the immaculate conception, which had previously troubled me. Now, I desire a deeper relationship with Mama Mary. I pray to her nightly and the Rosary, but feel like my relationship should grow with her as I’m deepening my relationship with Christ. What do you recommend

Keep up with the rosary. You may also want to try meditating on the 7 sorrows of Mary, if you pray those perhaps by getting a good meditation (or just using the scripture references) then it will help. It’s certainly helped me. Also reading the works of the saints. St Bridget of Sweden had revelations in which Our Lady talked to her revealing Our Lords passion through her eyes which you may find helpful. You can get small excerpts of St Bridget’s revelations as the huge volumes are extremely costly. I got a small booklet for just a few pounds online. God bless

Let St. Louis De Montfort be your guide. He is the poster child for Marian devotion and has written extensively about her and devotion to her.

One of the things that helped me best was reading “Jesus and the Jewish Roots of Mary” by Brant Pitre. I originally bought it simply because I heard his interview with Matt Fradd, but when I read the book my eyes were opened and I had a much deeper understanding of and devotion to our Mother.

But, as others have suggested, keep up with the rosary. As a former Evangelical, I can tell you that things that I prayed for for years and went unanswered were answered within days of praying the rosary with those intentions. She is such a powerful intercessor.

Definitely keep praying the rosary. I have a medal of Our Lady of Consolation and a miraculous medal. I also recommend 33 Days to Morning Glory by Father Michael Gaitley. I also like to meditate on the Annunciation.

OP. Read the Gospels and see the Blessed Virgin Mary´s interaction with, first of all her son Jesus, but also with other people.

Welcome to CAF. ☺️ Great advice from those on this thread…can’t add to it.
