DeviantArt - your experiences with it?

I kinda feel like I’m defending deviantart on this thread a bit, but the fact is they will not tolerate art with sex acts.

However, it’s my understanding there is plenty of nude art there which can easily become pornography.

I would think an art piece is either pornography or not, it can’t just transform into it. Perhaps you are thinking of art that has a degree of eroticness to it but may vary in interpretation in the eye of the beholder?

I’m aware that a lot of fantasy and sci-fi art can show too much skin, exaggerate features such as bosoms. and all of that. That’s probably to appeal to guys and I’m not a guy so it doesn’t do much for me.

My art tastes when it comes to science fiction are more along the depiction of space travel and alien creatures (or steampunk but for this piece I want to do the space-oriented sci-fi is what I’m after).

I was not criticizing, it really made me laugh out loud. The only reason I knew sorta what it was is becuase my husband was watching entourage and it was in an episode.
I am really interested in seeing your art by the way.

Thanks, but I have not created nor posted art on the internet. My familiarity with those sites comes from growing up with the internet and videogames.
