We all know that the devils hate God, hate unity, hate love, goodness, and hate is the second nature of their mode of thinking. How they can work “in unity” to destroy the people, probably they hate one another !?, they have this unity in hate goodness, and this hate unify them in one sense, how is this possible?

How the Church see this thing?
How Aquinas see this?

“The Father and I are One”. - Christ

"What is your name?” He replied, “Legion is my name. There are many of us.” - Demon

My question is: how is possible if they hate one another to mentain a unity even in evil

They hate each other, but they hate humans even more, so they work together to destroy humans. Maybe?

I presupposes this but , Probably they don’t have a unity between they even in evil, they can’t have this, they hate each other, can’t be obedient, we think that devil listen to bigger devil, but this isn’t the real story. Probably is some metarational for our human understanding.

It may be the same as in human affairs like politics or business, where there is imperfect unity.

For example, people may be brought together by a common purpose, but a purpose defined in selfish terms – “I will gain power/wealth/pleasure if I cooperate” – will fall apart as soon as one member has an opportunity to gain an advantage over his comrades, or one member feels that he is getting less than another.

There is a kind of hierarchy among the demons that isn’t very well understood, but the Devil holds a pride of place among them as their master. Revelation says there are the children of the devil and the children of the woman, and that they war with each other.

The demons hate each other intensely on a fundamental level, but they also like each other - as objects of usefulness - because they share a mutual hatred for what is good and a goal to corrupt it, and so they work towards that goal. Hatred for what is good takes priority over hatred towards each other, because seeing somebody who isn’t damned more deeply enrages them.

You can’t both love and hate somebody, but you can like and hate somebody, since you can like somebody because they are useful.

I imagine fear is a big part of it. Satan and his chief lieutenants keep lesser demons in line through force. We know that some angels are greater than others. When they fell, I imagine some were more powerful than others.

In the book of Daniel we hear the account of a powerful demon capturing the archangel Gabriel, who is later delivered by St Michael. Perhaps the Devil can imprison or otherwise punish lesser demons who disobey.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. They hate each other, but they hate God more, so they work against God, even if that results in them cooperating with another entity they hate.

Also, obedience can be born of fear. The angel have a hierarchy, just like we have hierarchies on Earth. Satan was of the highest class of angels, so after falling and becoming a demon it seems likely that other demons would do as he commands out of fear.

I have never really considered such a tremendous, overwhelming, non-stop, hate factor.
The father of lies - a murderer - from the beginning.
Imagine being disguised as an angel of light, skilled in lying and super-ultra murderous !
Pray thanks - for your guardian angel !

We all know that the devils hate God, hate unity…
Do we?

"How can Satan drive out Satan? 24If a kingdom is divided against itself, it cannot stand. 25If a house is divided against itself, it cannot stand. 26And if Satan is divided and rises against himself, he cannot stand; his end has come. "

They sure hate one another as like humans and they have different personalities and agendas. They also are different in intelligence and order of intelligence. There is a hierarchy as there are of angels, which they once were. And depending on that, their intelligence, their ‘jobs’, for a lack of a better term, they take orders from those higher in the hierarchy. I’m sure that there are rogue demons as well. And frankly, they’re in hell and they sure don’t like being there, and they also torment one another besides tormenting humans. Of course they can work together in their mad business. And one way they can and do escape hell is by possession, though they’d rather not be exorcised.
