Devotion of St. John of the cross

So far in my life I have a strong devotion to a our lady, st Joseph, st Therese of lisieux but I want to become devoted to St. John of the cross any prayers you would recommend. I am devoted to daily adoration as well. I can’t find statues of him anywhere.
 
Simply read his writings. You don’t need a statue to ask for his intercession or develop his pious qualities. It’s a fascinating story. If you have a home shrine or home altar, set a little picture up of him with your other devotionals.

Read his writings in a leisurely way, perhaps more than once to absorb what is missed the first time.

Follow up with those of St Teresa of Avila, and Edith Stein (St Teresa Benedicta of the Cross). Or in any order as you find them.

You will likely have come across, within the above readings, the poem The Dark Night of the Soul as well as the Saint’s interpretation.

Read the poem alternately with Solomon’s Song of Songs from the OT.

Be in no hurry whatsoever, savour all. My exploration took a year, maybe more.
