I’m not sure about HH but many Protestants think we worship statues and, as an example would frown upon the act of a Catholic having a statue of the BVM in their yard.

Then maybe it would be a good idea to not make comments about how you’d ask for them to be removed. You don’t strike me as a person with a sense of humor. I didn’t “get” the joke.

Sorry, I take myself to have a rapier wit. Apparently for others I am an “embarrassment”.
 
this is EASY!! just show the person in the bible where they were making statues of mary, and How jesus said to do so… thats simple. I just got an answer form one of your members ablut how the Big cross thing happened and the whole making a cross on your head and chest thing happened. Its an Add-in…
but a guy name turtulian. he also added a few other thingsd while he was on a roll. maybe he was the guy with the mary thing? hey…I can pay it forward…your guy helped ME to find when you guys added in the whole Symbol of the cross thing…maybe I can now help you out…Im gonna see. Because I have read the bible and dont remember any statues of men being used by god’s people. I guess mosus kinda STOOD like a statue with the rod up so the war would remain in the Jews favor. So maybe that! Past that, i dont know.

Maybe its an add-in. Me being Jw, I know that many people say we ADD IN stuff… Many of our members were ex catholics. So there’s that too. But i think its more of TAKE AWAY stuff for us. As in…TAKE AWAY the ADDED IN. so I Guess We should have a symbol too. how about this -+

Sure…but those were mostly found in cemeteries.

But it was only after the reformation that Luther and his protestant heirs started making a big deal of these images and started smashing them…:eek:

And thus borne the protestant scrupulosity on the images of saints, of the BVM…🤷
