Try Chlor-Trimeton. It really really helps my sinus inflammation, so maybe it can help yours too.
Thanks BeeSweet, do I have to ask a prescription from my doctor for this? or it is over the counter med?

Thanks a lot!

Chlor-Trimeton is an over-the-counter medicine. It’ll probably be around the same area as all the Robitussin.

thank tdknick and BeeSweet!
and Sorry to all for going off topic a bit. 😉

Yup, this is what the package looks like:

I buy the Walgreens brand that’s called Walfinate:

I can get a big ole’ bottle of the stuff for 5 bucks! It helps me fall sleep too. I prefer the 4 hour versus the 12 hour. I think I tried the 12 hour once, and it made me hyper. I don’t like anything that makes me jittery. Except a good cup of coffee that is… I hope it does you some good.

I like this one. St. Michael looks like a warrior here. I wonder if people can purchase like a smaller version of this.
I’ll find out for you. This one was cast specially for the studio, so perhaps the company that did it makes smaller versions.

I’ll let you know what I find out. 🙂

Prayed the St. Michael Chaplet for the 1st time this weekend. I like it!

I wonder - how long does it take everyone to pray this chaplet? I was praying it along with Mother Angelica on EWTN and it took almost 30 minutes. But I confess to thinking that I could probably do it in closer to 15 minutes. What’s everyone else’s experience?

The St. Michael chaplet is beautiful,
but it is so very long that I rarely pray it.
It usually takes me 30 to 45 minutes.

Oh I love this Chaplet. Mother Angelica says it at 6am…and I often wake-up to it. I never thought about it being too long.

Not bad, but still not quite there. My own image of St. Michael is more like Russell Crowe (Gladiator) with wings.

It’s odd how artists almost always depict angels as either children or effeminate looking men when in the Bible whenever an angel appears, the first thing he says is “do not be afraid”

I think it’s the glory of God surrounding the angels that is frightening rather than their physical appearance - not to mention that a visit from an angel usually means something life-changing and not very comfortable is about to happen to you! Heck, I’d probably be scared!

It’s on at 3:00 am here. I tivo’d it one day and use it to pray along with.

I’m currently doing a 9 week novena to St. Michael. It’s my first novena I’ve ever done. 😃

Never Failing Prayer to Saint Michael:

Saint Michael, I resort to your protection, and in my faith, I offer this light which will burn every Tuesday, Comfort me in my difficulties and to the lodging in the house of our Saviour, intercede for me and my family that we may be able to hold God close to our hearts and be provided for in all of our necessities, I beseech you to have infinite pity in regard to these favors I ask of you that I may be able to overcome all difficulties as you did the dragon at your feet.

Say: 3 Hail Mary’s, 3 Our Fathers, 3 Glory Be’s

This prayer is to be said 9 Tuesdays in succession. Each Tuesday, a candle shall be lit and a copy of this prayer is to be left in the church to help another soul in distress and support the devotion to St. Michael.

This miraculous Saint grants everything no matter how difficult and before the terminiation of the 9 Tuesdays.

I’m on my 3rd week, and some of my intentions have already (partially) been answered. 👍

I’m sorry I didn’t follow up earlier - but we did check with this company and they only do massive bronze sculptures, and do not offer anything in a small desk or home size. 😦 Sorry!
