His mother said to the servers, “Do whatever he tells you.” John 2:5

The perfect example of this type of spiritual and apostolic life is the most Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Apostles, who while leading the life common to all here on earth, one filled with family concerns and labors, was always intimately united with her Son and in an entirely unique way cooperated in the work of the Savior. Having now been assumed into heaven, with her maternal charity she cares for these brothers of her Son who are still on their earthly pilgrimage and remain involved in dangers and difficulties until they are led into the happy fatherland. All should devoutly venerate her and commend their life and apostolate to her maternal care.
DECREE ON THE APOSTOLATE OF THE LAITY
APOSTOLICAM ACTUOSITATEM
SOLEMNLY PROMULGATED BY HIS HOLINESS,
POPE PAUL VI ON NOVEMBER 18, 1965

829 “But while in the most Blessed Virgin the Church has already reached that perfection whereby she exists without spot or wrinkle, the faithful still strive to conquer sin and increase in holiness. And so they turn their eyes to Mary":306 in her, the Church is already the "all-holy.”
CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

Just remember, devotion does not equal worship.

Salvation is only possible through the death and resurection of Jesus Christ. However, it has been said that Mary is “a sign of predestination”. That is because she will lead you straight to her Son.

True Mariology and devotion to her is an extension of Christology.

Mary is the most humble of all of God’s creatures. She wants no glory other than to lead people to her Son. She doesn’t want praise and thanksgiving, all she does is for her Son; she wants to lead the sinner to the Christ.

Devotion to Mary gives more glory and honour to Christ. Marian devotion is entirely Christo-centric; the purpose of this devotion is to know, love, and serve Christ more deeply. Mary helps to guide you towards her Son, nothing more and nothing less.
