Led by the Holy Spirit, I’m discerning whether or not to practice the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. What is the basics of practicing this devotion?

Jesus is the Master and Lord of this house we live in Love ,we Consecrate ourselves to the Most Holy Sacred Heart of Jesus and have a Picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and blessed by the Priest one a year ,renew it the same day like the wedding anniversary or birthdays etc every year ,they are in think 15 promises revealed to St Margret Mary ,we can also pray daily the consecration prayer personally or while saying the family prayers in the evening. The Family that prayer’s together stays together.

Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

The Sacred Heart devotion, as revealed to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, consists of enthronement of a picture or statue of the Sacred Heart in the home and honor being given to the Sacred Heart. I had a statue blessed and it is on my mantel in my living room.
The devotion also consists in practicing the “First Fridays.” Jesus asked the faithful to attend Mass for 9 consecutive First Fridays (the first Friday of the month) in reparation for the sins and outrages committed against the Sacred Heart. A list of 15 promises for those who do these practices can be found online. Note that many Catholics also observe the 5 First Saturdays that our Lady of Fatima requested in reparation for sins against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. So, in effect, each First Friday and Saturday of every month becomes for us special days of honor and reparation to the Two Hearts.
You can find all this and more online.

Mathew 11:28 -(come to me and and I would ease your burden so that the holy spirit and father would ease my burden as well for many hands make light work) 29 (learn from me as I learned from them)
John 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. (do unto others as you would have done unto yourself, same as the previous two verses)
