Devotions To Mary

I pray the Rosary and say the Memorare, but I was wondering about some different devotions to our Mother. I love her and want to have a wider variety of devotions so I’m not doing the same thing over and over again. Thank you!

They are. I just book marked it. I want to print it out as soon as I get more ink in my printer.

Down here in Louisiana, we all go boat riding. Where I live we go to Blind River. It let’s out into Lake Marpaus which then goes into Lake Ponchetrain. (sp?) Well, on the river there is a shrine. It is called Our Lady of Blind River. It is very ugly on the outside but it is just breathtaking inside. They used to have daily fisherman’s mass there. Now it is just a shrine due to the lack of priest. It is a very nice pilgrimage for those of us that can’t go too far away from home.

That is lovely, that there is a shrine on the river. I know I’ve heard mention of Lake Pontchartrain.

Is there a particular image or title of Our Lady that speaks to you? Personally I love Our Mother of Perpetual Help. If so, do a google search and find prayers, novenas or what have you dedicated to Our Lady under that title.

anyway - I have some for you - but will have to translate them first
2 novenas (reminds of your joke yesterday)
One is to Our Lady of Perpetual Aide - I pray this at least once a month and believe me, it works like magic every time.

the 2nd novena is to Our Lady of Lourdes.

then i also pray the Litany - but I think you have that now
