Thanks allhers for granting the ok for me to start a thread for this. I hope I placed it in the right place. This is a big. Take it from me… a former family planning employee.
Here is something else just recently in from Judie Brown
Washington, D.C. (17 July 2008) – Reacting to news reports that the Department of Health and Human Services is considering a rule that defines abortion to include birth control, Marie Hahnenberg, project manager for Protest the Pill Day '08: The Pill Kills Babies released the following statement: “We are happy to see that this proposal recognizes that the birth control pill can kill babies in the womb and we hope that this will bring even more discussion and education on the abortifacient effects of the pill, IUD, emergency contraception and many other birth control drugs.”
… the scientific fact that life begins at the moment of creation/fertilization and that the birth control pill and other birth control products thin the lining of the mother’s uterus, which results in starving the preborn baby to death.” “We must continue to spread the truth about these deadly drugs and stop the killing of innocent children. Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion chain in the country, has been lying to women about the true nature of these drugs and that explains why it is afraid right now. The amount of panic that is being displayed by Planned Parenthood about this proposal says it all: Planned Parenthood is admitting that the pill can cause abortions.”
Another important point about the rule:American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to natural death.

The draft rule is known as the “conscience clause” because it would allow doctors and nurses who have ethical or moral objections to abortion or birth control to refuse those services to patients.
