Diabetic and stepped on an old rusty nail

Please say a prayer for a man named Louis, who stepped on a rusty nail Sunday. He found out not long ago that he is diabetic, and I don’t know why, but that makes injuries of this type all the more serious. He went Tuesday for a tetanus shot, but not to a doctor until yesterday. He was given two kinds of anti-biotics, and if it’s not better by tomorrow afternoon is supposed to see the doctor again.

Pray that this will get better (it’s swollen and red), and that if it doesn’t, that he will actually return to see the doctor and not put it off.

Knowing how serious such infections can be for those with Diabetes, I ask God to aid Louis in his healing. Grant that he heals completely…and please grant blessings to his spiritual life.

Please inspire Your children to seek medical assistance quickly where they have particular vulnerability. Please therefore promote affordable medical assistance, our God.

Diabetics are slow to heal; so prone to severe infections. Such wounds can easily lead to amputation. They must carefully inspect their feet daily for any incipient infections.

Thank you all so very much for your prayers. Louis is a stubborn man, and he really doesn’t understand (or refuses to) how serious health problems can be.

I have said a prayer for each of you.
 
I’m praying for stubborn men like Louis!
May God have mercy on him and bring him
the healing that he needs and refuses to seek.
