I was diagnosed with pleurisy today. If anyone has had it before, how long before it could go away?

Please pray for me to be healed, so that I may be strong again.

God bless

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit Of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Recovery depends on what is causing the pleurisy. The average is 2 months, but please come back and let us know what your doctor says.

Saint Bernardine of Siena, patron of health of the lungs, we commend punisherthunder to your intercession before the Divine Physician.

Heavenly Father, guide the medical community in a quick recovery for PT. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.

**A Prayer For Healing **
from Catholic Doors Ministry

Lord, look upon this one with eyes of mercy,
may Your healing hand rest upon them,
may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of their body
and into the depths of their soul,
cleansing, purifying, restoring them
to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom.
Amen.

I ask the Lord to please help you feel as comfortable as possible, and to recover as soon as possible.
I ask Him to lead you whatever way He wishes while you are recovering.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
