A topic being discussed by a group of protestant and catholic children ( and parents) was on the age of the earth. The group of protestents believe the earth to be only 6,000 years old and the existance of dinosaurs. A young protestant boy told me that dinosaurs did not live and die millions of years ago ( if they existed at all) because they could not have existed and died before Adam, because there was no death before original sin. I agree with a previos post that; " The Catholic Church leaves questions such as the literal age of the world to science. While it is theoretically possible that the earth is young, modern science indicates that the likelihood is that the earth is much older." But, my question is could dinosaurs have lived and died before the fall of Adam and Eve?
