Did/do humans require Satan for tendency to sin, or would it have happened without Satan?

Hypothetical question…

Say Satan had never fallen and continued to serve God, or was never created by Him in the first place.

Would Adam and Eve/the symbolic progenitors of Homo sapiens have committed origin sin/chosen to eat from the tree of knowledge without the fallen Angel under the guise of the serpent?

Sometimes it’s easier to sin when someone gives us a nudge but we still would without it.
