yes Jason,

What do you think is the reason of the presence of GOOD and BAD in the Garden of Eden?
Just as a correction, there was not the presence of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden - rather, there was the presence of the KNOWLEDGE of Good and Evil.

The knowledge of Good and Evil existed because it is God’s knowledge. Plain and simple.

Blessings,
Marduk

Yes Mardukm,

not the presence of Good and Evil? What is the snake doing the in the garden?

are you saying brother that the purpose of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and evil in the garden is just for display only?

God didn’t put the snake in the garden. Satan snuck in in the form of a snake

I don’t understand your question. Please clarify.

Okey,

Would you know the purpose why the Tree of Knowledge of Good and evil was placed in the garden of Eden?

Okey,

Would you know the purpose why the Tree of Knowledge of Good and evil was placed in the garden of Eden?
I believe the Tree of Knowledge is an extension of the Divine. It was not placed there artificially, nor was it created. It was just there period. Recall that the Serpent tempted Eve by stating “if you eat of this Tree, you will be like God.” Asking for its purpose would be akin to asking for the purpose of God’s existence.

Does that answer your question?

Blessings,
Marduk

Fredms3 is correct , the presence of good and evil were in the garden. however the tree was not the presence, it held the knowledge of good and evil. the presence was indeed satan.
but once agian God did not create satan. God created a wonderful Angel called Lucifer. what God created was indeed good and became corrupted by pride. he was cast out of Heaven. if you say God created satan evil and wicked then you are sadly mistaken.

But that doesn’t take away the truth about the presence of Good and Bad in the Garden of Eden
It doesn’t, but the the tree of knowledge of good and evil wasn’t the Evil of which you speak – Satan was. Evil is the absence of Good. Therefor, if you know what “Good” is, it follows that you know or can easily infer what Evil is, so the tree had to offer both.
