Hi,
I read a book entitled "heaven is real ". In it the father of a little boy who said he went to heaven said that god turned his back on Jesus while Jesus was on the cross.
I never heard that god had turned his back on his son. I googled this question and Matthew 27:48 was cited. I’mfamiliar with this verse but never understood it as god turning his back on Jesus but I felt it was Jesus that felt at that moment that god had forsaken him. What is the catholic explanation for this verse?
Thank you
