The short answer is no. According to the current scientific evidence, dinosaurs walked the earth millions of years ago, whereas homo sapiens (the strand of hominids human beings come from) appear on the scene roughly 200,000 years ago. Whether the homo sapiens at the time were actually human beings with a rational soul is unclear. They were not much different than other hominids, such as homo erectus and homo neanderthalis.
Homo sapiens didn’t start to manifest signs of self-consciousness and self-determination until about 45,000 years ago, perhaps even further back as 77,000 years ago.
