I went to confession this day and originally I was planning on confessing all my venial sins in preparation of for Lent. But this week I ended up committing several mortal sins and sins that I thought might be mortal, some of these sins were not as serious I as originally assumed and other I worded poorly and I had difficulty explaining what I meant by them. So when I asked the priest to hear my venial sins (looking back on it, I realized that I asked the question oddly I actually gave him the option to say no rather then ask it in a way where he would have to object to it. I don’t know why I did that, I just felt uncomfortable) He told me that he was worried about me being scrupulous, I do have some problems with scrupulosity, but here I really just wanted to get rid of my venial sins and strive hard to free myself from sin in general. I decided I would just confess venial sins related to my sexual addiction but I only confessed the overly obvious venial sins related to my addiction and left out the other venial sins that I knew contributed to it, I did this because I was scared that he would think I was scrupulous and I was feeling uncomfortable being there because of the whole thing and wanted to end it.

Did I desecrate the sacrament of confession by leaving out these other venial sins?

Desecration is not the correct term, and does point to the tendency to scruples, frankly.
Your venial sins can be forgiven during the Penitential rite of any Mass and the proper use of Holy Water. But you are correct int hat you must confess all mortal sins.
Do go to confession and confess them and above all LISTEN to your confessor.
He has your best interests in mind. Minimizing your words defeats the purpose of confessing, no? Don’t be embarrassed. He has it all before. Many times over.
You on hurt yourself when you’re not honest in the confessional.
peace

We are only obligated to confess grave sins, i.e., mortal sins. Confession of venial sins is recommended but not required. All of our sins are absolved after receiving absolution.

Can. 988 §1. A member of the Christian faithful is obliged to confess in kind and number all grave sins committed after baptism and not yet remitted directly through the keys of the Church nor acknowledged in individual confession, of which the person has knowledge after diligent examination of conscience.
§2. It is recommended to the Christian faithful that they also confess venial sins.
Nervousness and anxiety are not a sin and do not “desecrate” anything. You should take seriously your confessor’s warning about scrupulosity. I would strongly recommend speaking to an experienced confessor about this. They have dealt with it before.

No, you assuredly did not desecrate the sacrament.

The venial sins were forgiven through the sacramental absolution without your need to articulate them.

Your confessor was precisely correct in how he handled the matter, especially given his determination of a tendency toward scruples…a penitent should not ordinarily be attempting exhaustive lists of venial sins.

Serious sins should be confessed according to kind and number…venial sins may be confessed but in passing and without the need for detail.

I am frankly disturbed by various posts I have read this forum in which the confessor’s prerogatives are given short shrift. The confessor is the judge in this tribunal that is the sacrament of penance. The majority of the decisions therefore concerning the sacrament of penance and its administration are his…they are not the penitent’s.

Well stated. You hit the nail on the head.
