While at Church yesterday morning, I started feeling a little queasy. By the time the Liturgy of the Eucharist had begun I was not feeling so well. When it came time to receive, I felt that if I put anything in my stomach I met get ill. So I didn’t receive Communion. Was this wrong? Should we always receive, no matter what?

No, there is no requirement that Catholics receive Communion at every Mass. Indeed, if there is reason not to receive (e.g., ill, not in state of grace) a Catholic should not receive. The only requirement in this area is that Catholics receive Communion once per year during the Easter season.
