Did I negate my Catholic baptism by being baptized again?

I was baptized Catholic as a baby. Than in early 30s, I was re-baptized but in a none-denominational church. At this time, now at 45 yrs old, I regret my decision. Did I mess up my original catholic baptism by getting another one from a none-denominational church? Please explain.

No, you did not mess up your Catholic baptism. As we declare in the Creed each Sunday, we believe in one baptism. Your first baptism is the only one that counts. The second one, regardless of whether it had valid matter and form, did not confer any additional grace nor did it remove any. Valid baptism leaves an indelible mark that cannot be erased (CCC #1272).
