A few weeks ago, I grabbed a water bottle from my dance studio from a box that I had seen some girls grabbing them from. Later, I found out that those were for storage even though they were out and were actually supposed to be paid for. I didn’t get the chance to pay until a few days later, when I did. I didn’t have the chance to explain that I had taken a bottle because the woman at the desk was busy so I left the money and went on my way. I did receive Communion since then and I’m about to go to confession this week and didn’t want to leave out if I was a mortal sin or not and if I also needed to confess receiving Communion.
Also, I grabbed some quarters from a bad in my mom’s car because I needed them and I’ve repayed all but 1. I’m pretty sure that bag is okay to grab from because she’s let me before but is it stealing if I didn’t check with her before?

Not yet and I know I need to but I’m asking if this qualifies as stealing.

Don’t post questions on here if you may be suffering from scrupulosity. Talk to a Priest. You are only hurting yourself mentally and spiritually by seeking answers here.

Perhaps in confession, ask his advice or opinion. And when he tells you his opinion, do not second guess it. Accept what he says and put it behind you.

It’s definitely not a sin.

If you didn’t know the water wasn’t for anybody then you didn’t commit a sin by taking it. You did the right thing by paying for it later.

As for the quarters from the bag: again this sounds to me like an honest mistake, not a sin. Just check with your mother. Find out whether you may do that at any time, or whether she wants you to get permission each time.

I repeat what you have been told; check with your priest. Find out whether you’re being scrupulous.

Okay, I’ve changed it. I apologize.

I must ask. Did you pay for the water bottle with the quarters?

Okay, I apologize.

I should know better. I’m scrupulous myself.
