I watched a movie about Fatima (can’t remember the name), but it was an oldie’s movie. In the movie, Sr. Lucia, I think it was, was telling her mother that she and the other kids saw Mary, her mother thought she was lying so she smacked her.

I am extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY against corporal punishment, and even though I know cursing itself is wrong, but in my head, I was so mad I called her “the b word” for slapping little Lucia. Yes, I know saying that was wrong and I’m going to confess saying that word.

But did I insult Sr. Lucia’s mother? I mean it’s not like she slapped her in real life, it just happened in the movie.

Can I please have someone’s (name removed by moderator)ut?

Does it really matter? If it wasn’t intentional you weren’t committing any sin, and unintentionally insulting someone long dead is much different from intentionally insulting someone to their face. You’re being scrupulous.
