Many modern writers divide the Old Testament’s Book of Isaiah into separate parts written by different authors. But there is also the view of a significant number of scholars that the Book of Isaiah was all written by the prophet Isaiah. This article discusses both views.

I’m intrigued by the lettering in the icon. What language is it? Russian? Old Church Slavonic? I’d like to find a website that explains the lettering, which is not standard Cyrillic. Anyone?
