I 've only seen this connection made in one published source, and I don’t recall the source.
But the text I have in mind is from the Sermon on the Mount, specifically
Matthew 5:39
*And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one of your members than to have your whole body go in to Gehenna.*NAB
Certainly hyperbole is in play, but as to context-- Jesus has just mentioned adultery, lust, looking with lust (plucking the eye out…). I think it’s at least probable that the “right hand” refers back to sexual sin.
