Both of them being immaculately conceived --and therefore preserved from all stain of sin and their consecuences–, I was wondering whether either one of them ever suffered on their flesh any of the typical inconveniences that the original sin did leave on the rest of us humans after the fall of our first fathers. I refer to things such as illnesses, aging, tiredness, lack of memory – maybe even lack of faith, etc.
I understand that our Lord in fact died on the cross for our sake, yet that his death is disqualified as possible consecuence of the original sin, because while that could also be seen as an execution, we all know it was rather a sacrifice he himself offered on our behalf.
Since we don’t know whether our Mother Mary died (I really doubt it), the question would probably especially apply to her, since she stayed even after Jesus’ return to the Father, and we all know she was somewhat “older”(?) than him.
(All this kinda makes one wonder if they would’ve ever died had they had other than their particular missions in this world. But that’s simply useless speculation, I guess…)
