Did Jesus baptise St. Joseph?

St. Joseph wasn’t born immaculately so had original sin attached to him and he died before Jesus so he would go to Sheol?

Do you think Jesus baptised him just before he died so as not to undergo Purgatory?

Though there is nothing written, I would like to believe that Jesus was at Joseph’s side along with Mary when He was dying. Did he meet John the Baptist along with Jesus or did Jesus baptize and anoint Him? That’s a good question, but as the previous post said we do know that St. Joseph is in heaven…I wish there was more about Joseph in the bible, but what we do know is that He was there for Mary and Jesus when they really needed Him. God Bless
 
St. Joseph’s death is known traditionally as a happy death having died in the presence of Our Lord and His Blessed Mother. No doubt after a life well done. After completing his mission given to him by God. Scriptures call St. Joseph a just man.

St. Joseph is not mentioned as being at the wedding feast of Cana which started Jesus’ public ministry so it seems likely that he was deceased prior to Jesus’ public ministry. We do know that he was not alive at Jesus’ crucifixion when he gives Mary to John three years later. As far as we know, Jesus did not baptize until his public ministry, therefor I think it is highly unlikely that St. Joseph was baptized by Jesus.

I have heard homilies that have noted that St. Joseph, having already died before Jesus’ public life began, would have gone to Sheol, and speculating that Jesus would have immediately looked for his earthly father Joseph when he went to open the gates.

If for whatever reason Jesus had not baptized Joseph (because Jesus hadn’t started his public life yet when Joseph died, for example) i am sure Joseph would qualify for the baptism of desire, and go straight to Heaven.

Sorry I could be wrong but I thought Sheol and purgatory are different places?
Abraham and all those holy people in OT would be the same, right?
 
They are.
Sheol is where the just went prior to Jesus’ opening the Gates.

3 He left Judea, and went again into Galilee.

John the Baptist was the forerunner who baptized with water. It is correct to assume Joseph had died before Jesus’ public ministry and therefore may not have been baptized, but had received the promise through his circumcision as a Jew.
